Lesson 1: Welcome to the School of Destiny

Topic: In this story, Alongsiders and their little brothers and sisters will learn that God loves them unconditionally, no matter who they are or what they have done. God loves everybody: rich or poor, girl or boy, naughty or well-behaved.

Scripture: The scripture for this lesson is the Story of the Lost Son (the Prodigal Son) from Luke 15:11-20.

Discussion: The discussion questions will help the Alongsider and their little brother or sister explore the feeling of being looked down upon by others and God’s compassion for them no matter what.

Activity: Through the application activity they will practise this kind of unconditional love towards someone else.
